Comments: Tami and Roger, Thankyou for preparing this site. A dear friend of mine lost her 13 year old son in a tragic and sensless accident this past February. She is surrounded by good friends and family that want to do anything that might ease her grief, even alittle. We are all "Fix it" kind of women and there will never be a "fix" to losing Sam. I am going to encourage my friend Lisa and our friends to look at your site for guidance. God Bless.
Comments: Roger and Tami, When I think of Justin, I think of Hebrews 11:4. Justin still speaks today. You were very wise to make his dreams come true and make him a published cartoonist. I often mention him in my sermons. Also, I often mention Tammy's comment in ladies class when she said, "Ladies, there is nothing wrong with the valley." Valleys are places of lush growth and while your hurt has been unimagineable to many, your faith has shined through and you are proving that while this side of the tapestry, may have many tangled knots, on heaven's side is a piece of art. I joyfully share his book with others. Onward and Upward! Jeff May
Comments: I was so sorry to hear the story of your son's death. I lost my daughter in April of 2009, she left behind a son 7 months old, which I have now. I have so many people say I don't know how you go on, but for me it's my grandson, which is a part of her, and god. I still miss her everyday and at night sometimes I cry myself to sleep after I have put my grandbaby to bed. I am not looking forward to the 1 year anniversary of her death, but it's coming whether I want it too or not. I will put Justin and your family in my prayers. God bless you and your family.

Comments: i am so sorry to learn of your loss. I too lost my brother in a tragic accident on 10.24.08. Although it was not a semi-truck.....it was two teenage boys skipping school and DRAG racing on a back country road. My brother was headed back to the school he had taught at for the past 25 years.
I will keep you and Justin in my thoughts and prayers.

Comments: So sorry to hear of your son's death! We cant imagine the pain that you must feel. Our family just lost someone very special to us as well and it is very hard to deal with. My grandfather is missed very much and is still loved more than ever. He was a Truck Driver and did so for 30+ years and I can completely understand your feelings against the ones that don't rest they way they should or that have other influences to make their driving very dangerous but those big rigs can not be stopped on a dime and are very hard to control! I agree that they should be rested with nothing to destract their attention but I really hope that you do understand that those big trucks are much harder to stop and manuvure around than the average vehicle that you and I drive. We are praying for you and your family!!!

Comments: On October 26, 2006, my 24 year old daughter was killed by a 19 year old drunk driver. She had been married 7 weeks. Her best friend was in the car with her and held Jessie as she took her last breaths. Thank God, her best friend, Emily, was not seriously hurt. The young drunk driver suffered no injuries at all. I found your website because I'm searching, searching, searching for peace, for comfort, for understanding. I know there are so many people out there who have suffered the loss of a child just as I have. I am so sorry to read of the death of your wonderful son. You are very strong people. It gives me hope that I too will at some point receive peace from God. I know he is with me, holding me up, carrying me at times. And I know my darling Jessie is with him now. In my selfishness, I still want her with me. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us who are seeking strength.

Comments: I just wanted to say that I went to G'dale High with Justin. I didn't know him very well, mostly b'cause he was so shy, but I was going through my memory box the other day and found his book. I read it all the way through again, and it made me sad that all those years ago i didn't know him better. He was beyond his years in maturity and in thought. I googled his name and found this sight. God Bless y'all for keeping his memory alive. Tina Class of 2000
